Here we are with a new session, and this one is a real shindig in a bag: Braxton Hicks is one of San Diego’s newest groups on the town, but they sound as classic and cohesive as a road-worn gang of brothers who have been at it for years and years. Their breed of country is a refreshing one, with the wails of pedal steel that you’d want anchoring your favorite tunes of old, but with some licks and lyrics that make it known that this band is carrying the torch ever onward. Blending the blues and folkiness all together and throwing it all under a light under a mosaic lampshade in a dark bar, you will fall in love with the Braxton Hicks experience, and there is so much to be excited about what they’re doing. It’s a real treat to release this one!
